Dear Friends,

As some of you know, conguero, teacher, father and grandfather Vicente Lebron has been held in a Homeland Security prison since June 9. His attorney is working on several strategies to gain his release, but nothing is imminent.

On behalf of Vicente, his family and colleagues, I would like to thank the many among you who have expressed support for Vicente, including sending donations to help with legal bills and expenses.

A Benefit Concert was held July 16 at Ryles, Inman Square, Cambridge MA

you can send him postal money orders or bank checks, made out to him (put name exactly as in above address). Sign the money order. He can use the money in the can for food and other things. Remember that except for letters from his lawyer, all envelopes can and will be opened and possibly read.
